Baydha - Saba:

A training course on preparing financial reports and monthly and annual final accounts was organized by the Finance Office in the governorate of Baydha on Monday.

The six-day course began to provide 36 finance branch managers with skills and knowledge on how to enter monthly and annual reports, and make closings and final accounts through the financial and accounting system (AFMIS).

At the opening, the governor's deputy, Saleh Al-Mansouri, pointed out the importance of holding such qualifying courses for finance cadres and enabling them to deal with the financial and accounting system in scientific and sound ways.

He stressed the need to work with the electronic financial systems of the Ministry of Finance in a way that contributes to enhancing transparency, keeping pace with the national vision, and enhancing control and accountability in all financial work, praising the level of performance of the Finance Office and activating work with financial and accounting systems and project management, and preparing final accounts despite the circumstances imposed by the aggression and siege.

The Director of the Finance Office, Nasser Al-Mansouri, had addressed all the theoretical and practical lectures that the participants in the course will receive and work to enhance financial and accounting performance and develop skills through the use of the accurate financial and accounting system.

He pointed out that this course comes within the framework of the efforts made to improve performance and move from the traditional system to the automated system, which contributes to facilitating financial work and preserving public money.

The opening was attended by the course trainer, Dr. Ali Hanibar, and a number of officials.
