Sana'a - Saba:

Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor on Monday participated in a ceremony to honor the schools that won the first competition for the Best School Radio, organized by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

The event, held in conjunction with the annual anniversary of martyr President Saleh al-Sammad, celebrated the winners from both the capital and provincial capitals.

During his speech, Dr. Bin Habtoor emphasized the significance of school radio in enhancing students' knowledge, noting the critical role of education in unifying society during times of aggression.

He praised the dedication of teachers, educational officials, and the university sector, recognizing their efforts in maintaining societal cohesion amid ongoing challenges.

Dr. Bin Habtoor also honored the legacy of martyr President Saleh al-Sammad, calling him a dedicated leader who sacrificed for the nation's freedom.

He highlighted the importance of preserving al-Sammad’s legacy, which remains a source of pride for Yemen.

Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Saadi underscored the value of school radio as an important educational tool, contributing to the personal development and confidence of students.

He also commended the teachers who contributed to the success of the competition.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the families of martyrs, including those of Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, President Saleh al-Sammad, and other educational martyrs, as well as officials from the winning schools.
