The director of the organization's branch, Hamid Doble, presented an explanation of the branch's activities over the past year in technical, financial and administrative aspects, as well as the challenges that hinder performance.
He pointed out that the branch implemented a project to filter the main line of the second district, and addressed the illegal home connections that were hindering water access to the eastern lanes of Maaber city, where the main line was replaced from four inches to six inches, with a length of 1,200 meters, at a cost of 18 million riyals.
He explained that meters were reinstalled for subscribers in ten lanes, which had been removed during the past years, and violators were arrested, which contributed to reducing water losses, in addition to repairing the pumping line from well No. 4 in the office, installing two solar pumping systems for two wells, establishing a mechanism to distribute water fairly, and forming community committees under the supervision of the local authority to go out in the field and monitor the level of service delivery to citizens.
