Jenin - Saba:

Mayor of Jenin on Monday, dubbed the current invasion of the Zionist enemy as the largest and is considered a copy of what happened in the Gaza Strip.

"The city will turn into a deserted and completely destroyed area if the occupation continues," Mayor Muhammad Jarar said in press statements.

"If there is no urgent international intervention, the scale of the disaster in Jenin will be enormous," he added.

Jarar stated that 50% of the city's neighborhoods do not have access to water, food and electricity due to the Israeli siege.

"We sent distress calls to international organizations and brothers to force the occupation to stop the military operation."

The Israeli occupation army, on Sunday evening, destroyed about 20 homes in the city of Jenin, as part of its ongoing aggression on the city and the camp.

Local sources stated that the camp is now empty of residents, as residents were forced to flee since the beginning of the aggression, while no reports of injuries have been received so far, despite the large scale of destruction.

They said the occupation forces began planting explosive barrels inside a number of buildings in various neighborhoods of the camp since this morning, noting that the occupation informed through the Palestinian liaison of its intention to blow up these buildings, warning the residents of the city of Jenin and the surroundings of the camp to take the necessary precautions.

The Israeli occupation army continues, for the thirteenth consecutive day, its aggression on the city and camp of Jenin amidst a stifling siege. Since the beginning of the aggression, 26 Palestinians were martyred from the city, the camp and other areas in Jenin Governorate, while the occupation forced most families to flee.

The occupation forces also destroyed the infrastructure and demolished, burned and blew up dozens of homes, while no final statistics are available yet on the extent of the destruction or losses.
