The government media office in Gaza expressed its rejection of US President Donald Trump's statements regarding the deportation of residents of the Strip, stressing that the occupation should leave, not the Palestinians.

The office noted its agreement with Trump on only one point: the people of Gaza do not want to return to their destroyed camps, because they never chose them, but were forcibly displaced in 1948.

He stressed that the just solution is their return to their homes following international resolutions, calling for the entry of aid and reconstruction without restrictions.

He also condemned racist statements that reflect a colonial mentality, stressing that the Palestinians are rooted in their land and that the continuation and support of the occupation is the main cause of instability in the region.
