Islamic Jihad considered that the statements of US President Donald Trump on the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, represent a new version of the Balfour Declaration and reveal the reality of the American-Zionist project in the region.
The movement stressed that Washington, led by Trump, supports the crimes of the occupation, noting that the Israeli aggression on Gaza between October 2023 and January 2025 led to the death and injury of more than 159,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in addition to thousands of missing persons.
It explained that plans to displace Palestinians, end UNRWA, and support the occupation pose a threat to Arab national security, especially to Egypt and Jordan, which the US administration is trying to implicate in confronting the Palestinians.
The movement stressed that the Palestinian people will not surrender to these conspiracies, but will continue their resistance until the liberation of their land, calling on the Arab and Islamic peoples to confront the American and Israeli plans targeting the entire region.
