The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, that its air defense systems destroyed 28 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement: "The air defense systems on duty destroyed 28 Ukrainian UAVs last night, as 13 drones were shot down over the waters of the Sea of Azov, eight drones over the territory of Rostov Oblast, six drones over the territory of Krasnodar Oblast, and one over the territory of Astrakhan Oblast."

It is noteworthy that Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and it does not seem close to ending, in light of Moscow's confirmation that its special operation will continue until all its goals are achieved.
