The Zionist enemy forces raided, at dawn today, Saturday, a number of Palestinian citizens' homes in the villages and towns of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate in the West Bank.

Local Palestinian sources reported that the enemy forces raided the homes of the families of prisoners expected to be released today as part of the fifth batch of the ceasefire agreement, in the villages and towns of: Silwad, Birzeit, Deir Nizam, Kober, Al-Amari camp, and Umm Al-Sharait, and verbally threatened them with punitive measures against them if they held gatherings or celebrations for the release of their sons.

The same sources added that the Zionist enemy forces assaulted the freed prisoner Fakhri Barghouti from Kobar, which resulted in him suffering bruises and contusions.

This comes within the framework of the policy of oppression and strangulation pursued by the Zionist enemy authorities against the Palestinian people, the prisoner movement and their families.
