Beirut - Saba:
Military units of the Lebanese Army deployed on Sunday in several towns in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon after the Zionist enemy forces withdrew from them, in coordination with the five-member committee to supervise the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement, the Lebanese Army said that its military units deployed in the towns of Rab 30, Bani Hayan and Talusa in Marjayoun district in the eastern sector, in coordination with the five-member committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement.
The statement added that LA military units are continuing engineering survey work and opening roads within these towns, with the aim of rehabilitating infrastructure and facilitating the movement of citizens, in a step that reflects the LAF's commitment to providing the necessary security conditions to restore normal life to the region.
The LA Command called on citizens to abide by the instructions of the deployed units in order to preserve their safety.
The LA continues to coordinate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the situation in the border areas, within the framework of Resolution 1701.
