Liverpool exited the Champions League in the round of 16 after losing 4-1 on penalties to visiting Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their match at Anfield last night.

The Parisian team took the lead in regulation time with a goal scored by winger Ousmane Dembélé just 12 minutes into the match, the same scoreline as in the first leg. The two teams went into extra time without a goal.

The French team won the match on penalties, defeating the Reds 4-1.
