The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' announcement to resume operations against Israeli ships in the Red Sea, stressing that it "expresses the genuine position of the Yemeni people and their leadership."

The movement explained, in a statement issued Wednesday, that the resumption of these operations "embodies the true commitment of the Yemeni people to support and assist our Palestinian people and their resistance, and also constitutes effective pressure to break the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip."
