First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah on Wednesday praised the free and courageous voices around the world that reject Western arrogance and imperialism and stand with the right of oppressed peoples to resistance, freedom and independence.
The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation during his meeting with Australian human rights activist "Tim Anderson", who is currently visiting Yemen, for the efforts he is making to expose American imperial arrogance in particular and Western arrogance in general, praising his efforts in supporting the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.
In turn, "Anderson" expressed his gratitude and thanks for the generous hospitality and warm reception he received, explaining that his visit to Yemen aims to draw inspiration from the spirit of actual revolutionary resistance that Yemen and its generous people are experiencing.
He stressed that many generations of young people have a strong desire to learn more about Yemen and its culture, which has made it a unique front of resistance worldwide.
He stated that the free people of the world, especially the youth, are inspired by this revolutionary spirit of resistance. He indicated that many international human rights activists have a strong desire to visit Yemen and learn closely about its unique resistance worldwide.
The meeting touched on a number of international human rights issues and activities, most notably the struggle of the Palestinian people to wrest their rights, regain their lands, and establish their independent state.
