The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" praised Yesterday, Monday, the principled and courageous stances contained in the final statement of the African Summit condemning the brutal Zionist war on Gaza.
The movement indicated, according to the Palestine Today Agency, that the final statement of the African Summit rejects the occupation's violations of international law and confirms that it is committing a crime of genocide against our Palestinian people, calling for its international trial and stopping all forms of cooperation and normalization with it until it ends its occupation and aggression.
The movement considered these genuine stances of the African continent's countries a natural extension of its history of struggle against colonialism and injustice and its permanent bias towards the values of freedom, justice and the rights of peoples to self-determination.
It stressed that this strong stance constitutes important support for the steadfastness of our Palestinian people and their resistance in the face of the crimes of the occupation, and it is also a clear message to the international community to assume its responsibilities in stopping the Zionist aggression and holding its criminal leaders accountable.
Hamas called on the sister African countries to translate these positions into practical measures by escalating political and legal pressure on the occupation, enhancing support for the Palestinian cause in international forums, and strengthening the steadfastness of our people until they achieve their freedom and establish their independent Palestinian state with Quds as its capital.
