Sami Abu Zuhri, leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that today's delivery of the bodies is a message to the occupation to stop maneuvering and fully respect the ceasefire agreement.
Abu Zuhri added in a press statement, "Netanyahu's arrogance could cause a repeat of today's picture.
On Thursday morning, the Palestinian resistance handed over the bodies of four Zionist prisoners to the Red Cross in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The resistance took care to respect the sanctity of the dead , their families, and placed their bodies in four coffins, before handing them over to the Red Cross.
On Wednesday, Abu Obeida, the military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that the bodies of the Bibas family and the body of Oded Lifschitz will be handed over on Thursday, as part of the Al-Aqsa deluge prisoner exchange deal, all of whom were alive before their places of detention were deliberately bombed by the occupation aircraft.
It is noteworthy that the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released the prisoner Yarden Bibas as part of the fourth batch of prisoners in the first phase of Gaza ceasefire agreement.
On Tuesday, the head of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Gaza, Khalil al-Haya, announced that the movement decided to hand over six Israeli prisoners alive on Saturday and four bodies on Thursday, as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip.
"Hamas decided to hand over four bodies of Israeli prisoners on Thursday, as a prelude to engaging in the second phase of the agreement negotiations," al-Haya said in video statements on Al-Aqsa satellite channel.
He added that "we will release the bodies of the Bibas family, provided that the occupation releases on Saturday those who meet them from our prisoners in accordance with the agreement."
He also explained that six living prisoners of the occupation will also be released on Saturday, including Hisham al-Sayyed and Vera Mangisto in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, indicating that the handover of the rest of the bodies will be completed in the sixth week of implementing the agreement, according to Palestine Online.
