Beit Al-Faqih Agricultural Cooperative Multipurpose Association, Hodeida Province, organized on Thursday a training workshop and an expanded meeting for delegates and coordinators of centers and districts in the directorate, on agricultural and developmental aspects, with a focus on implementing an agricultural and developmental survey, including farmers and livestock breeders.
The workshop and meeting aimed to introduce 30 delegates representing the centers and isolated areas of the directorate to the tasks and work manual of the coordinators, with a focus on implementing an agricultural and developmental survey, including farmers , livestock breeders, and counting the number of cows, sheep and poultry.
The workshop addressed aspects of identifying veterinary cadres, animal health workers, engineers and guides, to train them and involve them in agricultural and development work, mechanisms for organizing marketing , agricultural markets, and the importance of spreading community awareness about agriculture and development.
The director of the directorate, Hussein Sahl, explained that the workshop comes within the framework of implementing the leadership and the government's directives within the plan of the supplementary local development program for the year 1446 AH, in cooperation with government agencies and the local community.
