Ramallah - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed on Tuesday evening that it will continue to provide its services despite the incursions carried out by Zionist enemy forces on Tuesday in schools and educational institutions in Al-Quds.
This came in a statement issued by the UNRWA Media Office in the West Bank region.
The Zionist enemy forces and members of the occupation municipality in Al-Quds stormed the Vocational Training College in Qalandia camp and ordered its immediate evacuation, where 350 students and 70 employees are present, and fired tear gas and stun grenades, in addition to UNRWA schools in Sur Baher, Silwan and Wadi Joz and ordered their closure.
The UNRWA media office in the West Bank explained that despite the incursions, the school day continued as usual in Sur Baher, Silwan schools, and Wadi al-Joz school was evacuated to ensure the safety of students, which is an unacceptable violation of the privileges , immunities of the United Nations, and constitutes a denial of the right to education for children and trainees.
This morning, the occupation forces launched a mass campaign against the most prominent institutions of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in East Al-Quds, after banning them completely at the end of January.
