Today, the free medical treatment camp was launched at Houth Rural Hospital in Amran Governorate, organized by the Ministry of Health and Environment** in partnership with Sana'a University, on the occasion of **the coming month of Ramadan.
The camp will continue for three days, with the participation of an elite group of specialists and consultants, and provides free services in several medical specialties, including pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, ear, nose and throat, dentistry, orthopedics, dermatology, cardiology, general surgery, in addition to laboratory tests and free dispensing of medications.
- Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Mutahar, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Sana'a University: He stressed that the university's participation comes from a sense of responsibility towards citizens, considering the camp an important step to help the poor amid the repercussions of the blockade.
- Dr. Mohammed Al-Houthi, Director of the Health Office in the Governorate: He explained that the camp provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to the residents of the directorate and neighboring areas, which reduces the suffering of patients who have to travel to distant hospitals.
- Dr. Abdullah Al-Imad, Director General of Camps at the Ministry of Health: He pointed out that the camp targets more than 2,500 cases, stressing that the Ministry of Health continues to implement such medical camps in various directorates.
- Abdul Wahid Al-Ashqas, Director of Houth Directorate: He appreciated the role of the ministry in supporting rural hospitals, expressing hope that the organization of these health camps will continue in the future.
The medical camp embodies the directives of the leadership of the revolution and the program of the government of change and construction and confirms the keenness of the Ministry of Health to deliver medical services to all directorates.
