The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums has published the 16th issue of Ridan magazine.
The issue included a collection of inscriptions and archaeological and historical studies that shed light on the ancient Yemeni civilization.
The issue began with an editorial by the head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums, Obad Al-Hayal, who discussed a rare inscription containing the verb "to cheer," which reveals important linguistic and historical connotations.
The issue also included a study of new Sebaean inscriptions of Bani Jarrah and Bani Dhi Gaiman from Muharram Bilqis by Muhammad Ali Hazam al-Qaili, a study of three Sebaean inscriptions of offerings and women's vows by Yahya Abdullah Dadieh, a study of Dhu Sahar and Banu Athaklan in light of new Sebaean inscriptions from Muharram Bilqis by Muhammad Massad Ahmad al-Shari'ah.
The issue also contains a study of new Sabaean inscriptions from Muharram Bilqis, "A Study in the Significance of their Contents" - Fadl Muhammad Muhsin al-Omeisi, as well as a study of new inscriptions from Muharram Bilqis "An analytical study in their contents and linguistic originality" - Ali Nasser Sawal, and the study of six new Zipporian inscriptions from the National Museum in Sana'a "Investigation and Study" by Ahmed Ali Saleh Faqas.
With regard to studies, the issue included a study of the city of Rakhma and its role in the political conflict between Sheba and Himyar in the third century AD, by Muhammad Ahmad Tahir al-Hajj.
It included an old archaeological report of the comprehensive archaeological survey project in Amran province in the season: Preliminary 1999 - Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sanhani.
