Jordanian King Abdullah II reiterated his country's rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, and the need to sustain the ceasefire in Gaza, and enhance the humanitarian response.
This came during talks held by the King of Jordan, today, Thursday, with a delegation from the US House of Representatives headed by member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Representative Darrell Issa, to discuss the most prominent developments in the region, according to what was reported by the Jordanian News Agency.
The Jordanian monarch warned of the danger of escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, stressing the need to intensify international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
