Spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, "Abu Obeida", announced Friday, the names of the Israeli detainees scheduled to be released tomorrow.
Abu Obeida said in a brief tweet: Within the framework of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" prisoner exchange deal, the Al-Qassam Brigades decided to release the following Zionist prisoners tomorrow, Saturday, 02-22-2025:
1- Elijah Maimon Yitzhak Cohen
2- Omar Shem Tov
3- Omer Finkert
4- Tal Shoham
5- Avera Mengistu
6- Hisham Al-Sayed
On Thursday, Hamas handed over to "Israel" the bodies of 4 detainees who were killed by "Israeli" bombing in the Gaza Strip after their capture on October 7, 2023.
The Al-Qassam Brigades displayed 4 black coffins on a platform in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, prior to the process of handing over the bodies to the Red Cross.
The coffins carried pictures and details of the detainees, who are: "Sheri Bibas and her two children, Kfir and Ariel, and Oded Lifshitz," and Netanyahu's office announced the receipt of the bodies.
