Gaza - Saba:
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, handed over six Zionist prisoners today, Saturday, in the seventh batch of exchange operations within the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
The handover took place today in two locations, the first in Rafah and the second in the Nuseirat camp.
The handover of three Zionist prisoners began in the Nuseirat area in central Gaza, following the first handover that took place a short time ago in Rafah and included two Israeli prisoners.
Meanwhile, prisoner Hisham al-Sayed will be handed over in Gaza City without a ceremonial ceremony.
The movement handed over the two Zionist prisoners "Tal Shoham" and "Avra Mengistu" in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip this morning.
The Zionist occupation authorities announced today, Saturday, the names of the Palestinian prisoners scheduled to be released in a new batch of Palestinian prisoners, within the seventh phase of the prisoner exchange agreement with the resistance factions.
The "Israeli" occupation delayed delivering the list of names of Palestinian prisoners who will be released today as part of the seventh batch of the "Flood of the Free" deal.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the Zionist occupation will release 602 Palestinian prisoners from the occupation prisons, as part of an exchange deal with Zionist prisoners held in the Gaza Strip, under the ceasefire agreement.
The club's spokeswoman, Amani Sarahneh, reported that 445 Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip were arrested during the Zionist war of extermination on the Strip on October 7, 2023, 60 are serving long prison sentences, 50 are serving life sentences, and 47 were re-arrested after their release in the exchange deal that took place in 2011.
As part of this batch, a number of prisoners released in the "Wafa al-Ahrar" deal who were re-arrested by the occupation state will be released, most notably prisoner Nael Barghouti, who spent 45 years in the occupation prisons, which is the longest period of detention in the history of the Palestinian prisoner movement.
