Beirut witnessed a massive and emotional funeral procession on Sunday for Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, amidst profound sadness and unwavering resolve.
Tens of thousands from across Lebanon and the world gathered at Sports City to honor the two leaders, chanting slogans of loyalty and vowing to continue their path. Despite their grief, mourners pledged that the martyrs' sacrifice would fuel the resistance and strengthen its resolve to achieve victory and liberate Jerusalem.
The coffins were carried on the shoulders of mourners, while recordings of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speeches echoed through the air, urging adherence to the resistance and the path of jihad.
Chants of "Labayk Ya Nasrallah" and "I am loyal to the covenant Ya Nasrallah" filled the air, alongside Ashura chants of "Humiliation is far from us," symbolizing the unwavering commitment to the path paved by the martyrs.
As the coffins entered the funeral square, emotions surged, with mourners expressing their deep sorrow and vowing to uphold the martyrs' legacy and continue the struggle from the Battle of Badr to al-Aqsa Flood.
