The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed in a statement issued on the day of farewell to the two martyrs, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, the martyr Hassan Nasrallah, and his successor, the martyr Hashem Safi al-Din, that the cowardly assassinations of the leaders of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon will not stop the path of the resistance.

The movement said in its statement: "On the day of the great farewell to the two martyr leaders, we pray for their pure souls, and we recall their firm and supportive positions for Palestine, and their great martyrdom on the path to al-Quds."
