Representatives of Sayyed Ali Khamenei participated in the funeral ceremonies of the martyred leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the martyr Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, headed by Hojjat al-Islam Sayyed Mojtaba al-Husseini, who read Imam Khamenei's statement at the ceremony.
In the statement read by Sayyed Mojtaba al-Husseini, Imam Khamenei stressed that "the great mujahid and pioneering leader of the resistance in the region, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, has now reached the peak of glory. His pure body is being buried in the land of jihad in the way of God, but his spirit and approach will become more and more prominent day after day."
