Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed on Tuesday, the necessity of implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip in its various stages, exchanging prisoners and detainees, and bringing humanitarian aid into the Strip.
During his reception of the head of the Iraqi "National Wisdom Movement" Ammar al-Hakim, he stressed the importance of starting the process of early recovery and reconstruction of the Strip without displacing its Palestinian people, while rejecting proposals to displace the Palestinian people, in order not to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and to avoid causing a threat to the national security of the countries of the region.
In response to a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, El-Sisi stressed last month that displacing the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip is "an injustice in which we cannot participate."
