The training program on the characterization of academic programs for the undergraduate level at the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences began on Tuesday at Ibb University in cooperation with the Development and Quality Assurance Center, with the participation of 20 specialists.
At the opening, Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stressed the importance of benefiting from the training packages for the characterization of the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences' programs to develop an academic map through which the college programs can be transformed into productive programs with a focus on the applied aspects accompanying the theoretical vocabulary in the various courses.
For their part, the Dean of the Development Center, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qawas, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Miyas, reviewed the objectives of the training program and the mechanism for characterizing undergraduate programs according to the latest characterization models of the Academic Accreditation Council , local and international references to reach productive outputs capable of meeting the needs of the country in the agricultural, animal and food industries sectors.
