Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban today inaugurated the new dialysis center at the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in the capital Sana'a.
Minister Shaiban listened to an explanation from the head of the authority, Dr. Muhammad Jahhaf, and those in charge of the center about the center, which consists of a building, equipment, and medical supplies with a capacity of 27 beds, self-financed by the authority.
During the opening, the Minister of Health praised the efforts of the leadership of the Republican Hospital Authority in equipping the center, which will constitute a qualitative addition in providing dialysis services to patients in need.
He stressed that such service projects meet part of the community's requirements in light of the current conditions the country is going through.. stressing the implementation of international protocols for dialysis patients, especially infection control.
In turn, the Chairman of the Republican Hospital Authority, Dr. Muhammad Jahaf, explained that the center will contribute to improving the services provided to patients, stressing that it comes within the framework of social responsibility to alleviate the suffering of kidney failure patients. The opening was attended by the Vice-Chairmen of the Authority and businessman Saleh Al-Sabbari.
