Dr. Hamoud Obbad, the capital governor , launched a project to distribute Ramadan Iftar meals to traffic policemen who regulate traffic in tours, intersections and main streets in the directorates of the municipality.
The project aims to distribute 550 integrated Iftar meals daily during the month of Ramadan to traffic policemen in all rounds and intersections with the support of the Capital Municipality.
The Capital Secretary stressed the importance of providing Ramadan meals to members of the traffic and security points within the framework of the Secretariat in recognition of their role in traffic control, organizing and securing traffic lines, especially during the peak period in which the capital witnesses congestion of vehicles coming from various provinces.
The Revolutionary Command and the Supreme Political Council prioritized traffic officers as the embodiment of state prestige, discipline, and a true vision of what the situation in Capital Secretariat and the rest of the provinces should be.
Colonel Najeeb Al-Asadi, Director of Traffic of the Capital Secretariat stressed that the Secretariat's Traffic Department has developed a traffic plan for the streets and intersections of the Secretariat, dividing them into sectors and using the support services of the rescue forces, central security and traffic control to help facilitate traffic movement during the day and night of Ramadan and avoid any accidents.
