Kuwait - Saba:
Kuwait strongly condemned today, Monday, the decision of the "Israeli" occupation authorities to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement, that this measure is a flagrant violation of international law, and contrary to the basic principles of international humanitarian law, regardless of the brutal effects left by the war on Gaza.
The ministry renewed Kuwait's position demanding the cessation of such decisions and policies that do not take into account humanitarian principles, and prevent Palestinians from their most basic rights, and use the policy of starvation to pressure them during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Israeli entity had announced yesterday, Sunday, the suspension of the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the closure of the crossings "until further notice", which was followed by the occupation army closing the Kerem Abu Salem crossing in the south of the Strip, and returning trucks loaded with relief supplies, goods and aid.
