Gaza - Saba:
Director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Salama Marouf, said today, Monday, that foodstuffs are available in the markets, but they are enough for about two weeks at most.
Marouf explained, according to the Palestine Today Agency, that the trucks carrying foodstuffs that were entering the Strip were enough to meet the need for the day and not for storage, and that not all trucks were carrying foodstuffs.
Marouf indicated that efforts are being made to pressure the occupation to oblige it to abide by the ceasefire agreement and open the crossings.
Marouf pointed out that the Ministry of Economy dealt yesterday with dozens of merchants who monopolize goods or raise their prices and take legal measures against them and the sources of those goods and sell them at their indicative price.
He indicated that an indicative list of prices will be published by the Ministry of Economy.
