Gaza – Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the emergency Arab summit held in Cairo to work to end the humanitarian tragedy created by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement issued Tuesday evening, Hamas urged Arab leaders to oblige the "fascist" occupation government to stop its crimes against defenseless civilians, and to pressure to open the crossings and bring in what our people in the Strip need to strengthen their steadfastness on their land, and to thwart the occupation's plans to displace them."
It stressed that "closing the Gaza Strip crossings for the third consecutive day, and preventing the entry of aid and goods, represents a Zionist insistence on violating the ceasefire agreement, and a clear war crime committed in front of the world's eyes and ears... to achieve political goals.
