Amran - Saba:
The annual Ramadan Football League, dedicated to the memory of the late Saleh Tais, has kicked off in Amran province.
Twelve teams are participating in the month-long league, which is organized by the Supreme Supervisory Committee for Organizing Cultural and Sports Events in the province, in cooperation with the Youth and Sports Office.
The league competitions, held in a group and knockout format, began with a match between Taawon Amran and al-Hilal, which Taawon won 5-3.
Ali Hadban, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Sports Sector, and Jihad al-Haidari, Director of the Youth Office in the province, highlighted the importance of such tournaments in promoting sports activities.
They emphasized the need for sports events involving all clubs and federation branches across various sports, with a particular focus on football.
