A meeting of the Secretariat's Scout Commission , chaired by the Minister of Youth - President of the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Association, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, discussed preparations for the implementation of voluntary scouting campaigns to serve the community, to be carried out by the Secretariat's Scout Commission during the month of Ramadan.
At the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretaries of Youth Sector Abdullah Al-Razhi and Sports Ali Hadban, Scout Commissioner Abdullah Obaid, Secretariat's Scout Commissioner Ali Shamlan, and Deputy Director of Secretariat's Traffic Colonel Hussein Al-Manhi, the Youth Minister emphasized the importance of voluntary scout work in serving the community and embodying youth giving.
He pointed out that traffic men provide a great service to society by organizing traffic and facilitating the movement of citizens, indicating that voluntary campaigns aim to provide community services, through the campaign to help traffic men and others.
Undersecretary of the Youth Ministry for Youth Sector Al-Razhi praised the efforts of the scouts and their voluntary services and humanitarian activities, pointing out that all conditions will be created to make the campaign a success and overcome difficulties to achieve its goals.
The Director of the Youth Office in the Municipality - Scout Commissioner Obaid, and the Secretariat's Scout Commissioner Shamlan, explained that the Secretariat organizes several volunteer campaigns every year, including the campaign to help traffic officers, which will be launched soon and will continue until the end of Ramadan.
For his part, Deputy Director of Traffic of Secretariat Al-Manhi emphasized that the presence of young scouts alongside traffic officers is a source of pride for Yemeni youth in gaining experience in dealing with society, which qualifies them to be leaders in various fields in the future.
