The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems intercepted and downed 28 Ukrainian drones overnight and Friday morning over several provinces.
The ministry said in a statement that 15 drones were destroyed over Bryansk Province, five over Belgorod Province, four over Moscow and Moscow Region, two over Saratov Province, one over Kaluga Province, and one over the Black Sea.
Earlier today, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that air defense systems had intercepted four drones targeting the city on Friday morning.
He added that emergency teams were working at the site of the drone debris, and that the incident resulted in no deaths or injuries.
The Russian news agency Novosti quoted an emergency source as saying that one of the drones crashed on the roof of a residential building in western Moscow. Last Monday, Kyiv's forces launched their largest drone attack on northern and southwestern Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 337 drones, including 91 over the Moscow region. The attack resulted in the deaths of three people and the injury of 18 others.
