Nablus - Saba:
The Palestinian drama series "Bleeding of the Soil" has secured its place on the list of most-watched Ramadan series.
The series depicts the suffering of Palestinians under occupation and highlights the activities of the resistance, which has garnered widespread attention.
Series director Bashar al-Najjar confirmed that the idea of producing a second season of "Bleeding of the Soil" arose after the great success of the first season and the profound impact it had on the audience.
Al-Najjar explained that the series is based on real events and stories that embody the daily suffering experienced by Palestinian society.
In an interview with Quds Press, al-Najjar revealed that the drama seeks to present the Palestinian national narrative in an effective dramatic style, while highlighting the various forms of violations faced by Palestinians, whether by the occupation army or by settlers attacking villages adjacent to settlements.
The series continued its storyline from the final scene of the first part, which ended with the kidnapping of Israeli officer Mordechai. Most of the events of the second part revolved around how the resistance could retain him as a powerful bargaining chip to conclude a prisoner exchange deal.
