The Network of Intellectuals and Artists for the Defense of Humanity (REDH), based in the Venezuelan capital, has condemned the recent attacks launched by American forces on Yemen.
In a statement, the network said: "It appears that Washington is determined to undermine the fragile ceasefire and reignite its proxy war against the revolutionary government in Sana'a, which has controlled 70% of the populated areas since 2015."
It added: "Israeli or American warships cannot claim 'self-defense' while supporting genocidal operations and the blockade of Gaza."
The network called for "an end to the use of force in the Middle East" and condemned "the spread of destruction, violence, and death," urging "peace and an end to repeated attempts to destroy humanity. There is no other way: Defend peace!"
