According to the Russian doctor, the lack of harmony between sleep and social activities significantly increases physical risks, psychological disorders, and cognitive decline.
According to him, chronic sleep deprivation affects: the immune system, with a 50% decrease in immune cell production and a threefold increase in susceptibility to infection.
It also affects mental health, with short-term memory loss, a 30-40% decline in concentration, and a doubling of the risk of depression.
It also increases the risk of chronic diseases, with a 45% increased risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, blood pressure disorders, and weight gain due to hormonal imbalance.
