The Government Media Office in Gaza said that the first stage of famine has officially entered the Strip, after nearly two million people lost their complete food security.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ismail al-Thawabta, director of the office, explained that more than 2.4 million Palestinians in the Strip are experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, in light of the ongoing Israeli blockade and the closure of all crossings into and out of the Strip.
