The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Popular Front - General Command emphasized the need to unify Palestinian and Arab efforts to confront the "Israeli" aggression, support the steadfastness of the Palestinians in West Bank , Gaza Strip, and reject the American "Israeli" displacement projects.
During a meeting on Wednesday, the two movements called on the international community to condemn the aggression and work to stop the genocidal war against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday: "The head of the National Relations Department in the movement abroad, Ali Baraka, met with a delegation from the Popular Front headed by Assistant Secretary General Abu Imad Ramez, accompanied by Abu Kifah Ghazi, a member of the political bureau and the head of the Front in Lebanon."
The meeting was attended by Ayman Shanaa, head of the National Relations Department in Lebanon, and Ziad Hassan, a member of the National Relations Department, according to the statement.
Hamas said the two sides discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian issue, especially the renewed Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and the enemy's brutal massacres against the defenseless Palestinians, which led to the martyrdom of more than 450 martyrs, most of them women and children.
The two sides called on the mediators to assume responsibility in pressuring the enemy government that turned against the ceasefire agreement signed on January 17, 2025, holding the government of the Zionist entity and the US administration fully responsible for this brutal crime.
The two sides also discussed the situation of the Palestinians in Syria and Lebanon, emphasizing adherence to the right of return and working to provide the elements of steadfastness and a decent life for them, with our keenness to preserve civil peace and build the best relations with the two brotherly peoples in Syria and Lebanon.
