Australia called for the continuation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, expressing its deep concern over the resumption of hostilities in the Strip.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese affirmed in a press statement on Tuesday that his government attaches great importance to the continuation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ending the war, and ensuring peace and security in the Middle East.
He indicated that his government will continue to focus on its priorities.
