London - Saba:
British Health Minister Wes Streeting described the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip as unjustified and intolerable on Wednesday.
According to the Palestine Today News Agency, Streeting stated that the attacks do not serve Israel's interests, cannot be justified as self-defense, and must stop.
He said, "It is deeply frustrating to be a member of the British government and feel helpless in the face of this horrific conflict."
The scale of the aggression prompted the United Nations to announce that it would "reduce its presence" in Gaza after an attack on one of its compounds killed one of its employees and wounded five others.
Streeting insisted that the Labour Party had used "every available diplomatic lever" since taking office to try to end the "bloody war," but as a British government minister, he still felt "helpless."
The Israeli army has been committing new massacres in the Gaza Strip since the resumption of the war, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries. As the aggression on the Gaza Strip enters its ninth day after the enemy resumed the war, the humanitarian crisis in the Strip has significantly worsened.
