Negev - Saba:
Israeli bulldozers demolished nine homes in the Negev region, south of occupied Palestine, this Wednesday morning.
Palestine Today News Agency quoted local sources as saying that the Israeli bulldozers began the demolition operations this morning, targeting nine homes belonging to the Al-Alouj family, which has been left homeless.
Eight months ago, Israeli authorities destroyed homes belonging to the same family, leaving 35 residents homeless.
Salama Al-Alouj, a member of the affected family, said that the occupation continues the demolition and destruction with the aim of displacing the Al-Alouj family and Judaizing the area, and that "the family lacks the most basic necessities of life to survive and endure."
Al-Waj affirmed that "what is happening in the Negev is a catastrophe in every sense of the word. It is a tragedy beyond compare." He pointed out that children are being denied access to school.
The occupation authorities continue their demolition operations in the Negev to serve displacement and settlement projects.
