Madrid - (Saba):
French star Kylian Mbappe, a Real Madrid player, criticized a French media network, accusing it of distorting his statements about his former club, Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe's attack came after the French network "Foot Mercato" circulated statements attributed to him, suggesting that he preferred joining Real Madrid over lucrative financial offers, implicitly indicating his refusal to remain at Saint-Germain.
Mbappe responded via his official account on the "X" platform, saying:
"What I said has nothing to do with Paris Saint-Germain. The question was related to my next step, specifically the choice between moving to the Saudi League or Real Madrid."
Mbappe addressed the French network directly, saying:
"Focus on what's happening in France. The rest of my words are not directed at you unless you understand them."
Mbappe moved to Real Madrid after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired on June 30, 2024, and signed a contract with the royal club that extends until the summer of 2029
