Jenin - Saba:

The Israeli enemy continues its aggression for the 79th consecutive day against the city of Jenin and its camp, amidst bulldozing and burning homes, and converting others into military barracks.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli soldiers have been firing live ammunition intensively in Jenin camp since Wednesday morning. The camp is empty of Palestinian residents after they were forced to flee their homes. Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers continue to bulldoze streets and destroy its infrastructure.

Yesterday, Tuesday, a 25-year-old Palestinian man was shot in the head by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood after Israeli soldiers stormed the neighborhood and opened fire indiscriminately.

Israeli forces also blew up a house in the center of Jenin camp yesterday, Tuesday, and columns of smoke were seen rising from it.

Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy continues to send military reinforcements and armored vehicles into the city and camp, deploying heavy bulldozers from the Al-Jalama military checkpoint to the camp's outskirts, and deploying infantry forces in the Al-Ghabz area surrounding the camp and in the Wadi Burqin area. They are also paving and widening roads, changing the camp's landscape, and demolishing citizens' homes.

The Israeli army continues its military training around the Al-Jalama military checkpoint, north of Jenin, and occasionally fires live ammunition around Jenin camp.

The humanitarian situation of approximately 21,000 displaced persons forcibly displaced by the Israeli enemy from their homes in Jenin camp is deteriorating, especially given the loss of their sources of income and property and the prevention of their return.

It is estimated that 600 homes were destroyed in the camp, while nearly 3,000 housing units were rendered uninhabitable.

According to the data, the economic situation of the 21,000 displaced Palestinians represents a new reality and challenge on the humanitarian level in Jenin, increasing the poverty rate in the city, especially with the displacement of the displaced people and their jobs.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, 36 Palestinian citizens have been killed in the governorate, while the Israeli enemy continues to launch widespread raids and arrests in the villages and towns of the governorate on an almost daily basis.
