Hamas: Repeated calls to storm Aqsa dangerous escalation
Hamas: Repeated calls to storm Aqsa dangerous escalation
Hamas: Repeated calls to storm Aqsa dangerous escalation
[Thu, 10 Apr 2025 16:47:11 +0300]

Gaza - Saba:

Hamas leader Majed Abu Qutaish stressed that the announcement by extremist Zionist groups and figures of their intention to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during the so-called Hebrew Passover holiday is an escalation of religious warfare.

He also affirmed that the Palestinian people will not allow their sanctity to be desecrated, no matter the cost. He emphasized that the repeated calls to storm the mosque and the protection provided to settlers by the enemy government represent a dangerous escalation and a blatant aggression against our Islamic sanctities. They also constitute a blatant challenge to the feelings of Muslims in Palestine and the world, requiring mobilization and action at all levels.

He explained that these incursions are part of a systematic occupation plan to impose a new reality on Al-Aqsa Mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.

He stressed that the Palestinian people will not stand idly by in the face of these attacks, and that resistance in all its forms will remain a shield and a solid barrier against the occupation and its schemes.

Abu Qteish called on the Palestinian masses in Jerusalem and the occupied territories to mobilize and defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the coming days. He also appealed to the Arab and Islamic nations to shoulder their religious and national responsibilities toward the First Qibla (direction of prayer) and the Third Holy Sanctuary.

The "Temple" organizations had announced a schedule for raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Hebrew Passover holiday, between April 14 and 17. These raids will involve five tours led by influential religious and political figures, including Tommy Nissany, Dan Bat, Arnon Segal, Mordechai Kedar, and Moshe Feiglin. These extremist figures aim to lead the raids to increase the number of participants and perform biblical rituals, in an attempt to impose a new Judaization reality on Al-Aqsa Mosque and alter its Islamic identity.
