Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across several provinces over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to fall on the provinces of Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Taiz, Al Dhale'e, Lahj, Al Bayda, and Sana'a.
It indicated the possibility of scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, the highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, Al Jawf, Marib, and parts of the eastern and southern coasts and adjacent inland areas. Rain may also affect scattered parts of the Tihama Plain.
Rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at some meteorological stations, reached 29 mm in Hadramaut-Ash Shihr, 18.5 mm in Taiz, 15.7 mm in Ibb, 6.1 mm in Ad Dhale, 2.7 mm in Raymah, 2 mm in Amran, and 1.7 mm in Sana'a.
Scattered rainfall also fell outside the stations' range in parts of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Al Bayda, Lahj, Marib, and Al Jawf provinces.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, thunderstorms, strong downward winds, and reduced visibility on mountain roads due to rain, low clouds, and fog.
It advised caution and avoid crossing over ground bridges during flash floods.
