Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a province, chaired by Governor Abdul Basit al-Hadi, discussed efforts to develop the performance of the civil defense branch in the province.

The meeting, which included the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdullah al-Hadi, the head of the Civil Defense Department, Major General Ibrahim al-Muayyad, the head of the Civil Status Department, Major General Mohammed al-Hakim, the province's security director, Brigadier General Mujahid Ayed, and the director of the civil defense branch in the province, Colonel Mohammed Jaafar.

The meeting discussed the studies prepared by the local authority, the Civil Defense Department and the Geological Survey in this regard, as well as the difficulties facing the Civil Defense Branch in the province, namely the lack of a headquarters for the branch and its lack of vehicles and equipment.

During the meeting, Governor Al-Hadi stressed the local authority's keenness to advance the work of the civil defense, and its readiness to provide the necessary support to complete the infrastructure and provide it with the required technical equipment and supplies.

He stressed the need to maintain the high readiness of the civil defense at the level of cadres, equipment and mechanisms to carry out tasks and emergency ambulatory work to minimize expected losses and damages.

The Inspector General and the head of the Civil Defense Department appreciated the cooperation and support of the Sana'a province leadership for the department's branch in the province and its keenness to overcome difficulties in implementing all civil defense tasks and works, stressing that it will receive support from the leadership of the Interior Ministry to play its role optimally.
