Washington - Saba:
US President Donald Trump stated on Friday that NATO will pay for the US weapons that the alliance will later supply to Ukraine.
Trump told NBC News: "We'll send weapons to NATO, and then NATO will provide those weapons (to Ukraine), and NATO will pay for them."
On Thursday evening, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters: "President Donald Trump will send weapons to Kyiv for the first time since returning to office, using presidential powers that his predecessor used extensively. This move indicates a renewed interest by the president in defending Ukraine."
