Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi discussed today with the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Engineer Moein Al-Mahakari, and the Minister of Finance, Abduljabbar Ahmed, a matrix concerning the most important guidelines for preparing the general budget for the year 1447 AH.
The two ministers explained that the draft budget was built to meet the urgent priorities in the Government of Change and Construction’s program and the leadership's directives, pointing out that the matrix focused on aspects that support production and improve the economic and service situations.
The meeting discussed the most important technical and procedural controls and the expenditure plan in the general budget for the year 1447 AH.
The Prime Minister stressed the necessity of taking into account priority service aspects in the programs of agriculture, education, economic empowerment, and projects that support community initiatives in all districts, and giving priority and attention to projects of road paving, water, and water barriers.
He praised the mechanism adopted in distributing the local authority budgets and its inclusion of agricultural programs, productive projects, and industrial laboratories that enhance agricultural production and protect products from stagnation during periods of abundance.
