The local authority and mobilization officials in the eastern districts of Al-Hodeidah province launched on Monday the events commemorating the blessed anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) 1447 AH, with an expanded gathering under the slogan "The Messenger of Allah is Our Role Model."
During the event, Amer Mathna, the province’s deputy for eastern districts affairs, emphasized that celebrating the birth of the best of mankind is a great occasion to reinforce the values of faith and Quranic principles championed by the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) in confronting ignorance and tyranny.
He noted that this occasion serves as a spiritual milestone to renew allegiance to the noble Prophet in both word and deed, following his path in resisting forces of arrogance and domination while upholding the banner of truth and justice against oppressors.
Mathna highlighted that the people of Yemen had the honor of being pioneers in supporting the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and today continue their path of sacred struggle and the promised victory, standing courageously alongside the oppressed Palestinian people against the usurping Zionist entity.
He stressed the importance of official and popular engagement in commemorating this blessed occasion, reflecting the deep emotional and spiritual connection of the Yemeni people with the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers—much to the dismay of God’s enemies among the forces of disbelief and hypocrisy.
For his part, Abdulmunim Al-Rifai, director of Bajil district, described the Prophet’s Birthday as an annual opportunity to revive faith-based awareness and moral mobilization, strengthening the spiritual identity that serves as a weapon in the battle of consciousness and steadfastness.
He pointed out that emulating the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is the straightest path to supporting the just causes of the nation, foremost among them the plight of the Palestinian people, who face the fiercest aggression with unwavering resolve and trust in God’s promise.
Al-Rifai explained that the heroic stances of Yemen’s people in confronting tyrants stem from a deep understanding of the methodology of the Mercy to the Worlds, sent to liberate humanity from the shackles of oppression and the worship of mortals to the worship of the Lord of all worlds.
In a speech on behalf of scholars and preachers, Sheikh Rajhi Mufleh affirmed that commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday revives the values of freedom, justice, and support for the oppressed, emphasizing that the nation can only rise by following the Prophet’s courage, wisdom, and civilizational mission.
He stated that the Mawlid is a moment to renew commitment to the Prophetic approach in confronting forces of oppression and supporting the oppressed, noting that walking in the footsteps of the Prophet is both a religious duty and a historical responsibility upon all free people of the nation.
Meanwhile, Hamadi Al-Alifi, the mobilization official in the eastern districts, stated that celebrating the Mawlid represents an opportunity to reinforce resilience and steadfastness, drawing lessons from the life of the Chosen One in breaking free from foreign domination and the chains of subservience to global hegemonic powers.
He stressed the necessity of maintaining mobilization and constant readiness to confront the modern-day tyrants who seek to extinguish the light of the Muhammadan message , dilute the nation’s identity, culture, and existential causes.
